Inspired by western knives but handmade by Japanese craftsmen, the Gyuto is the ultimate Japanese Chef knife. Literally translating to 'cow-sword' there isn't much a Gyuto can't handle. This is an essential primary knife in your kitchen.
This Gyuto is made from the Stainless Steel Ginsanko, or Silver 3. Of all the stainless steels, this one is probably the easiest to sharpen due to it's lower Chromium content. The Nashiji, or 'pear-skin' finish elevates this knife to a new level, this is a really special knife.
